WHAT WE DO?

Video Analysis is valuable in situations where movement patterns are complicated or at high speed. It is also useful for niggly or chronic injuries as detail can be seen more clearly.

WHY WE DO IT?

Video Analysis is the use of a video camera and computer to give feedback on movement. As the video can be slowed down more detail is able to be seen. Measurement can also be taken to compare two clips for change or differences.

Video can also be used as delayed real time feedback for learning. It can also be used in teaching new movement patterns.

WHO WOULD BENEFIT?

People with chronic injuries or injuries that come on when the body fatigues. People and Athletes that need to change a pattern of movement due to previous injury.

WHAT IS THE PROCESS?

The physiotherapist will often put markers on your body then film you moving. This will then be analysed and feedback will be given to you at a later session.
